Welcome to T1D Allstars. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the T1D Allstars website (t1dallstars.com), programs, events, and services operated by T1D Allstars, Inc. (“T1D Allstars,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
By accessing our website or participating in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
About T1D Allstars
T1D Allstars is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and teens ages 6-14 living with Type 1 Diabetes in South Florida through free sports activities, peer mentorship, and community support.
Eligibility and Participation
Program Eligibility
Our sports programs are designed for children and teens ages 6-14 who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Volunteer and mentor opportunities are available for teens ages 15 and older with T1D.
Registration Requirements
To participate in T1D Allstars events:
- A parent or legal guardian must complete registration for minor participants
- Accurate health and emergency contact information must be provided
- Required waivers and consent forms must be signed
- Participants must be able to safely engage in physical activities with appropriate accommodations
Parent/Guardian Responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about their child’s health status and diabetes management needs
- Ensuring their child is prepared to participate (appropriate supplies, snacks, equipment)
- Remaining accessible during events for emergencies
- Supervising their child as required for specific events
Website Use
Permitted Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes related to learning about T1D Allstars, registering for events, making donations, volunteering, and contacting our organization.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website
- Interfere with or disrupt the website or servers
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code

Donations

Code of Conduct
All participants, parents, volunteers, and staff are expected to:

T1D Allstars reserves the right to remove any individual from an event who violates this code of conduct.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. T1D Allstars is not responsible for any messaging or data fees charged by your carrier.
Carrier Liability: T1D Allstars and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier.
Age Requirement: By opting in to our SMS program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to receive text messages.
